My side kick

I was looking through pictures tonight and came across this one. Oh how I want her to stay this small and sit there in MY house and read all day! I don't want her to EVER move out. *sigh* She is my little side kick. While Mike works during the day, we explore the world! (ok, more like explore the backyard, target and maybe Mcdonalds) But I hope that when she is 20 something she will still want to be my side kick. And maybe still live at home? That would be nice.

sigh...i'm with you....it's amazing and wonderful and sad and heartbreaking and melancholy to see them grow and develop and get bigger....it is, by far, the most unique and, sometimes, terrifying experience i have ever had in my life. to watch a human, for whom you are responsible, grow before your very eyes is such a blessing. i just got some new clothes for ezra in the mail yesterday and they just look so big. i remember seeing those sizes what seems like yesterday and an eternity ago and thinking it would be forever until he was in them. and it just doesn't stop surprising me....miss you lots and cannot wait to see you guys!!! love you!

I don't think you know me, Michael does. I am from TN. Cal and Dawn were my youth leaders. I love reading your blog and watching Emma grow.I am now considered old, I think. I have 5 kids the oldest being 14 the youngest 10 months. I want them all to stay littlwe too. It is so everything Mandi said about their growth. I am loving my teen and preteen. They are soooo much fun. Each stage is just amazing! Continue to enjoy her and Thanks for sharing her. I Love your family dearly!!
