"If I had to sum up Friendship in one word, it would be Comfort." Author Unknown

This quote is so true.  There is so much comfort in good friendships.
Andreya (left) hasn't been my friend for that long, but she impacts me in so many ways.  God knew I needed someone like her in my life.
Haley(right) is actually my sister in law.  The first time we met was about 7 years ago and we have been friends ever since.  She is basically my sister. She is the type of friend where silence is not a problem, and napping together isn't awkward.

I will be honest, since college I have had a hard time making friends.
I feel like it gets harder as you grow up for some reason.
Different stages in life I guess?
Or maybe I just didn't want to let go of my past friends?
Not really sure why it has been hard for me.  I feel like I put walls up sometimes to guard myself from who knows what.
But recently I have let those walls down.  And it feels good.
We all need friends and to BE friends to others.
So I encourage you, if you have put walls up in your life TAKE THEM DOWN!
I realized that if you don't put yourself out there for friendships to form you can become lonely and depressed.
God created us to connect with others and live life along side of others.
Not alone.

So good Michelle! And so timely...I feel like I have been trying to fit a square peg in a round hole! I've had battled myself trying to make friendships where there weren't any, were unhealthy, or where I thought I had to be friends with someone for X. Feeling so incredibly lucky lately that Jesus pours out buckets and buckets of grace! PS Love, love, love my mustache coffee cozy! I actually put it on a recycled Starbucks Frap bottle to hold lovelies from the yard...that way I get to enjoy it everyday, all day!
