Be still

One of my favorite things about summer is being outside.  Soaking in the hot sun, walking the trails through the woods, going to the lake and simply enjoying what God created!  It's all around us. I remember in high school, almost every Sunday evening my dog Minnie and I would jump into Little Red Turbo (my car) and drive around the Wasatch Mountains.  Windows down, Minnie sniffing out the passenger window while I look across the Utah valley.  A beautiful view.  I miss it.  A lot.  It was a great time to think and simply relax.  So while you are out and about this summer, remember to stop and thank the Creator for making everything around you!

Hi Michelle! Thanks for your comment on my blog ... its so nice to get comments isn't it? :) (McCall and I have this discussion all the time.)

EVERY SINGLE DAY I marvel at the beautiful surroundings as I leave my office and drive up the hill toward home. Last night I had dinner up Big Cottonwood Canyon and could not believe how stunning that drive was!!!

Love your quote today!!! GOD IS GREAT!
